Cabinet approved twenty-five national programmes underpinning key education policies for the 2025/26 academic year, the Government press service said on Thursday.
Three entirely new initiatives headline the package. Future for Talents will cultivate a new cadre of creative teachers and build a network of 96 regional schools and four national camps to prepare pupils for Olympiads in mathematics, informatics, physics, chemistry and biology.
Skills in Focus sharpens literacy, science and financial competencies, guiding pupils to apply classroom knowledge to everyday decisions and manage personal finances while nurturing a culture of reading.
Security boosts cyber-security awareness among teachers and pupils, strengthens data protection and installs technical safeguards at schools; more than 1,400 training sessions and support programmes are planned.
Several established schemes are expanding. Qualification of Pedagogical Specialists adds courses for school psychologists and counsellors to curb vaping and drug use and offers training in artificial intelligence and new technologies.
Together in Arts and Sports gains a module for pupils with special educational needs, and Providing a Modern, Secure and Accessible Educational Environment will equip humanities centres with purpose-built classrooms for languages, history and philosophy.
