More than 160 young people from the Youth Guard Units association visited the plenary chamber of the National Assembly, the state institution said in a press release on Tuesday. The visitors had the opportunity to ask questions to Parliament Chair Nataliya Kiselova and to Rositsa Kirova, Chair of the Committee on Direct Participation of Citizens, Citizens’ Complaints and Interaction with Civil Society. The visit of the youth to the National Assembly was initiated by Kirova.

Among the questions asked by the young people were: what motivates MPs to serve in Parliament, what are the most frequently used phrases in plenary, and whether legal changes are needed in areas such as elections, tax policy, and youth-related legislation.
