Caretaker Environment Minister Julian Popov said he is committed to working in a spirit of continuity on the key areas of the ministry’s activities, the ministry said in a press release. He took over the post from Manol Genov.

The two discussed items on the Ministry’s agenda where work needs to continue and which are to be addressed in the medium term.

Earlier on Thursday, the caretaker cabinet headed by Prime Minister Andrey Gurov took office. After taking the oath of office in the National Assembly, a handover ceremony was held at the Council of Ministers.
