site.btaParliament to Vote No-confidence Motion in Zhelyazkov's Cabinet on Thursday

Parliament will vote on the draft resolution for a no-confidence motion against the Rosen Zhelyazkov Cabinet on Thursday at 1:30 PM, said here on Wednesday National Assembly Chair Raya Nazaryan, after the end of the debates on the motion, which lasted around four hours.

According to the rules of the National Assembly, voting on the draft resolution must take place no earlier than 24 hours after the conclusion of the debates. The motion is considered successful if more than half of all MPs vote in favor.

The sixth no-confidence motion against the Cabinet of Rosen Zhelyazkov was submitted last Friday by Continue the Change–Democratic Bulgaria, and supported by the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms and “Morality, Unity, Honor. The grounds for the motion are failure in economic policy.
