The world’s largest trade fair for fresh fruit and vegetables, FRUIT LOGISTICA, opened in Berlin on Wednesday, the Dobrudzha Fruit Growers’ Union said. Members of the union are among the exhibitors at the Bulgarian stand. A delegation of 25 agricultural producers will visit the stand and the exhibition and will take part in the accompanying program and forums.
This year, the focus is on the power and potential of artificial intelligence, which is increasingly entering agriculture and the food industry, changing the rules, employment, and trade in agricultural products, the Fruit Growers’ Union noted.
Agricultural producers from the union, Simeon Tarpanov, Dimitar Rachev, Nikolay Nikolov, and Spasov Garden Ltd., will present a selection of the best of their products in Hall 6.2, Stand B01. Alongside them, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the delegation of 25 agricultural producers, including representatives of partner organizations.
Traditionally, the participants will showcase the taste of Bulgarian fresh fruit, dried fruit, natural juices, as well as processed foods created using traditional and innovative recipes and modern production technologies.
The participation is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the State Fund Agriculture as part of efforts to sustainably position Bulgarian producers on international markets.
“Our participation in this exhibition is key, because FRUIT LOGISTICA is more than just a trade fair. It is a global platform where people, markets, and ideas meet along the entire chain, from production to the table. This year as well, the latest innovations, sustainable solutions, and business opportunities for the sector will be concentrated in the heart of Berlin, already shaping the way the world produces, trades, and consumes fresh food.
For Bulgarian companies, this is not merely a presence, but a strategic investment in trust, partnerships, and visibility—the foundation for their growth and development in the years ahead,” said Simeon Tarpanov of the Dobrudzha Fruit Growers’ Union.
