An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 shook Northern Greece at 09:16 AM local time on Wednesday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported. The quake was felt in Bulgaria as well.
The epicenter, at a depth of 7 kilometers, was located 12 kilometers west of the northern Greek town of Xanthi and 110 kilometers south of the southern Bulgarian city of Plovdiv.
