At a solemn ceremony in the City Council of the Serbian town Pirot, Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic today thanked all those who contributed to the full restoration of the railway line near the town, where ammonia tankers derailed on December 25, 2022.

"The Serbian and Bulgarian workers worked for several days - night and day - to first remove the RTCs that had not derailed, and then lift and empty those that had come off the rails. I would like to thank them for their enormous hard work and energy. Especially to the Bulgarian railwaymen who, together with their Serbian brothers and sisters, worked and risked their lives as if it were their country," Vesic said.
