Bulgarian athletes have won five medals at the Veteran World Wrestling Championships 2025 in Tatabanya, Hungary. They snagged one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals.
The latest medal was won by Stoyan Dimov, who got the bronze in the 78 kg category of Greco-Roman style, Division D (56 to 60 years) after defeating 6-2 US wrestler Thomas Edwin Donahue and losing in the semi-finals 0-9 to Nikolay Gritsai (Uww).
Earlier, Remzi Osman (62 kg) took the gold in freestyle, Division E, Vasil Atanasov (62 kg) won the silver in Greco-Roman style, Division E, and Nikolay Georgiev (70 kg) and Krasimir Ganev (88 kg) snagged two bronze medals in Greco-Roman style, Division B and E, respectively.
