site.bta Three Class A Certificates Presented for Total Investment of BGN 17.7 Mln

Outgoing Innovation and Growth Minister Milena Stoycheva has presented three Class A investment certificates to Solar Panel, Imelius and Bianchi. The investment projects in Sofia and Omurtag (Northeastern Bulgaria) are worth a total of BGN 17,744,000, the Ministry said.

Solar Panel was issued an investment certificate in line with the Investment Promotion Act for a project for a solar modules manufacturer in Omurtag. The company will invest BGN 7,350,000 and will create 45 jobs. The new plant will have a capacity of 200 MW a year. The investor said it would build a new plant in view of the rapid development of electricity production from renewable sources.

Imelius was issued a certificate for a project for a logistics centre and auxiliary and office buildings worth BGN 6,894,000. A new warehousing and storage facility will be built in the village of Gurmazovo in the Bozhurishte Industrial Zone.

Bianchi was issued a certificate for the construction of a logistics centre. The company will upgrade storage buildings in Sofia West Industrial Park to the tune of BGN 3.5 million .

InvestBulgaria Agency Executive Director Mila Nenova attended the event.

The Innovation and Growth Ministry has issued 24 investment certificates in line with the Investment Promotion Act since June 6, 2023, when the Nikolay Denkov cabinet took office. The planned investments top BGN 510 million and 2,064 jobs will be created in Sofia, Vidin, Burgas, Kardzhali, Omurtag, Stara Zagora, Svishtov, Ruse, Shumen, Plovdiv and Pernik, the Ministry said.
