site.btaParliament Chair Zhelyazkov to Participate in 9th Meeting of Presidents of Parliaments of EUSDR

Parliament Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov will participate in the Ninth Conference of Presidents of Parliaments in the framework of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) on March 18-19 in Vienna, Austria, the Parliament's press office said. The forum is organised by the Austrian Presidency of the Danube Strategy.

"Security in the Danube Region", "Education for Democracy" and "The Danube Region as a cultural, natural and scientific space" are the main topics to be discussed at the conference. Zhelyazkov will give a speech on the topic "Security in the Danube Region".

The participants in the conference will be welcomed by the Presidents of the Austrian National Council Wolfgang Sobotka and the Federal Council Margit Goll. Zhelyazkov will have bilateral meetings with his counterparts within the framewok of the forum.

EUSDR is a forum for exchange of information and experience, which enables national parliaments to use the full potential of the European Strategy for the Danube Region, the press centre of the Bulgarian Parliament further said.
