Kaloyana Nalbantova and the men's doubles Ivan Rusev and Peyo Boychinov qualified for the semi-finals of the international badminton tournament in Pesac (France) and guaranteed themselves at least bronze medals.

The number two ranked Nalbantova recorded her third success in a row after easily defeating qualifier Naisha Kaur Batoi of India 21:12, 21:9 in 32 minutes. 

In the men's doubles, Peyo Boychinov and Ivan Rusev defeated French representatives and fourth seeds Baptis Labart and Tom Lalo Trescart 21:12, 21:14 in 29 minutes in the quarterfinals. The two will play for a place in the final later on Saturday against fellow Frenchmen Eloy Adam and Leo Rossi.

The semi-finals of the tournament will be on Saturday night.
