Three people were killed and ten were injured, including a child, during a Russian drone attack on Chornomorsk, Odesa Region, on Friday morning, Oleg Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said on Telegram. The attack, which targeted the market in Chornomorsk, damaged a square, shops, and private transport. The shockwave broke windows in a nearby college.
Russian drones carried out an attack on the Ukrainian coast from 10 a.m. to 10:34 a.m. (local and Bulgarian time).
Odesa Region is home to the third largest community of expatriate Bulgarians, numbering more than 150,000 people, according to an official population census in Ukraine in 2001. There are between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians in the city of Odesa. Bulgarians in the region are concentrated in the districts of Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
