Bulgarian students won bronze medals at the International Young Physicists' Tournament in Lund, Sweden, the press centre of the Education and Science Ministry said on Wednesday. A total of 180 students from 35 countries participated in the tournament, which consisted of five physics battles, in which the teams presented and discussed solutions to various experimental tasks.
Competing for Bulgaria were 12th-grader Alexandra Petkova from the Sofia National High School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, 11th-grader Elena Yordanova from the Ruse High School of Mathematics, 11th-grader Diana Nacheva from the Plovdiv High School of Mathematics, 11th-grader Arkady Kalennikov and 12th-grader Dimitar Voivodov from the High School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Blagoevgrad.
