site.btaPamporovo Resort Expects Increase in Tourists from Balkan Countries, Britain and Ireland during Ski Season

Bookings for the upcoming winter season in Pamporovo show increased interest from foreign markets such as North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkiye, Greece, Britain and Ireland, resort operator Pamporovo AD told BTA on Tuesday.

Along with the usual British package tourists arriving through the services of tour operators, the company has also noticed a trend of online individual bookings by English and Irish tourists for the upcoming winter season. The resort is advertising in these markets through an active online campaign before the opening of the ski season, Pamporovo AD emphasized.

Based on bookings, it can be inferred that a more significant growth of Turkish and Romanian tourists is emerging as well, the operator noted.
