During a working visit to the People's Republic of China, a delegation from the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, led by its President Dr. Siyka Katsarova, achieved exceptional success with the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the China Tourism Academy. This landmark document, concluded with the leading research institution of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the PRC, lays the foundation for positioning Bulgaria as a year-round, high-quality tourist destination for millions of potential Chinese tourists.

The signing of this Memorandum is not just a formal act, but a strategic move that unlocks Bulgaria's access to the world's largest outbound tourism market. The China Tourism Academy, headed by Prof. Dai Bin, is not only a government think tank but also a trendsetter and policymaker in Chinese tourism.
