site.btaEC Executive Vice-President Roxana Minzatu to Visit Bulgaria June 16-17

The Executive Vice-President of the European Commission (EC) for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness, Roxana Minzatu, will visit Bulgaria on June 16 and 17, the EC said on Friday. 

In Sofia, she is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, National Assembly Chair Nataliya Kiselova, Minister of Innovation and Growth Tomislav Donchev, Minister of Labour and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov, and Education and Science Minister Krasimir Valchev. Also on her programme is a meeting with MPs from the committees on labour and social policy, on education and science, and on European affairs.

Minzatu will also take part in Green Transition Forum 5.0, a conference dedicated to green innovation and sustainable development in Central and Eastern Europe. 

She is scheduled to visit the Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT) as well as projects backed by the European Social Fund Plus.
