Bulgaria’s rhythmic gymnastics ensemble placed fourth in the five ribbons final at the 2025 World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan. Stiliana Nikolova ranked seventh in both the hoop and ball events.
The Bulgarian team - Sofia Ivanova, Alina Kolomiets, Suzan Pouladian, Danaia Atanasova, and Viktoria Georgieva - earned a total score of 21.850 points (10.700 points for difficulty, 6.750 for artistry, and 4.700 for execution), placing just outside medal contention.
Bulgaria has already secured two medals at the World Cup in Baku: a gold in the all-around group event and a bronze in the individual all-around.
Olympic champions China took the title in the five ribbons final with 25.150 points. Israel followed with 23.000 points, and Kazakhstan with 21.850 points.
In the hoop final, Stiliana Nikolova scored 28.200 points. The gold went to Ukraine’s Taisiia Onofriichuk with 29.250 points, silver to Vera Tugolukova of Cyprus with 29.200 points, and bronze to Anastasiia Salos with 28.950 points.
In the ball final, Nikolova received a score of 27.450 points. Vera Tugolukova won the gold with 28.450 points, followed by Taisiia Onofriichuk with 28.100 points, and Alina Harnasko with 27.900 points.
