Bulgaria’s rhythmic gymnastics ensemble has won the all-around title at the 2025 World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The team, made up of Sofia Ivanova, Alina Kolomiets, Suzan Pouladian, Danaia Atanasova, and Viktoria Georgieva, secured the gold with a total score of 53.400 points, earning 25.150 for their five ribbons routine and 28.250 for their performance with three balls and two hoops.
Silver went to Olympic champions China, who scored 51.850 points (25.350 in ribbons and 26.500 in the balls and hoops). Ukraine won the bronze with 48.250 points, scoring 21.350 points in ribbons and 26.900 points in the balls and hoops. Israel, Italy, and Turkiye rounded out the top six.
The Bulgarian gymnasts, coached by Vesela Dimitrova and Yasena Stoyneva, finished first in the routine with three balls and two hoops and second in the five ribbons.
Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation President Iliana Raeva praised the ensemble's performance in a post on social media.
