site.btaWizz Air Resumes Flights from Sofia to Abu Dhabi on November 17


Wizz Air will resume flights from Sofia to Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) on November 17, the Hungarian ultra low-cost carrier said on Thursday.
The scheduled flights will be performed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Tickets are already available via wizzair.com and the airline’s mobile app.
Since the start of its operation in Bulgaria in 2005, Wizz Air has transported over 30 million passengers. At present, it flies on more than 50 routes from Bulgaria to over 15 countries. It uses two operation bases, in Sofia and Varna.
Early in August, the company announced flights from Sofia to seven new destinations: Chisinau (Moldova), Prague (Czechia), Turin (Italy), Marrakesh (Morocco), Warsaw Modlin (Poland), Palma de Mallorca (Spain) and Lamezia Terme (Italy).
Beginning on November 15, Wizz Air will fly year-round from the Slovak capital Bratislava to the Bulgarian cities of Plovdiv and Varna on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
