State-owned gas supplier Bulgargaz proposes that the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) set the price of natural gas for March at EUR 32.85/MWh, excluding access, transmission, excise, and VAT costs, the application published on the EWRC website shows.

The regulator approved a natural gas price for February of EUR 32.30/MWh, which means that Bulgargaz has proposed a 1.7% higher price for March.

A review of price levels shows that the price proposed by Bulgargaz for March 2026 is 36.35% lower than that approved for March 2025, which stood at EUR 44.79/MWh.

The EWRC is expected to hold a public consultation on Bulgargaz's proposal and then make a final decision on the price of natural gas for March at a closed-door meeting.
