Vice President Iliana Iotova will take part in the official opening of the 62nd Summer Seminar on Bulgarian Language and Culture at Sofia University on Monday, the president’s press secretariat said.

The annual seminar brings together foreign scholars, students, and translators interested in Bulgarian studies and Slavic languages. This year, more than 80 participants from 26 countries are expected to attend, including representatives from Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, the United Kingdom, Germany, Greece, Georgia, India, Italy, China, South Korea, Moldova, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, the United States, Slovakia, Serbia, Turkiye, Ukraine, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Japan.
