An exhibition showcasing artist Hristo Haralampiev's recent works, including sculptures in patinated bronze and ink drawings created over the past year, will be on display at the Rakursi Art Gallery from October 8 to October 26, the organisers said here on Wednesday.

Haralampiev said about the exhibition: "Nine sculptural works that outline my plastic space, which I would like to share with you." He explained that his sculptural work is built using a morphological approach, drawing elements from its core essence.

Haralampiev, born in 1953 in Sofia, is a renowned sculptor and educator. A graduate of the National Academy of Arts, he has been teaching at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy in Sofia since 1987 and is also a professor at the National Academy of Arts. Haralampiev has held over 30 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and internationally, with his works featured in prominent galleries and private collections worldwide. From 1999 to 2004, he served as the chair of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
