site.btaVP Iotova Attends Celebration of 130th Anniversary of Topolovgrad's Chitalishte

Vice President Iliana Iotova attended the celebration of the 130th anniversary of Topolovgrad's Chitalishte (peculiarly Bulgarian educational and cultural community centres functioning as voluntary civil society associations) on Thursday. Topolovgrad is a town in south-central Bulgaria. 

She called the educational institution "a shrine and a spiritual temple", built with the clear awareness that the path of enlightenment and culture is the only true path.

Topolovgrad's Chitalishte has 11 amateur groups and schools, which are attended by about 200 people. Annually, it hosts the only national festival of amateur comedy theatres in Bulgaria.
