site.btaBTA Presents LIK Magazine's November Issue, Themed "Literature and Memory"
The November issue of BTA's LIK magazine, themed "Literature and Memory", will be presented today, November 26, at the Ivan Vazov House Museum in Sofia. The publication was inspired by the 50th anniversary of the National Literary Museum. The museum was founded in June 1975 by decision of the Council of Ministers and began operating in early January the following year. The magazine also highlights anniversaries of prominent Bulgarian writers and poets.
The date of the presentation is symbolic. The Sofia home of Ivan Vazov (1850-1921), the patriarch of Bulgarian literature, officially opened to visitors on November 26, 1926, becoming the country's first literary museum.
The launch of the new LIK issue will take place simultaneously via video links with BTA's national press clubs in Bulgaria and abroad.
