The Annual Meeting of Local Authorities, organized by the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB), opened at the Albena resort on Sunday, Day of the Bulgarian Municipality and Local Self-Government.

This year’s edition of the large-scale event brings together nearly 700 representatives from local governments, central authorities, businesses, academia, partner organizations, and international guests who play a key role in improving governance, driving transformation, and supporting municipal development.

The forum will continue until October 14. Grozdan Karadzhov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications, Ivan Ivanov, Minister of Regional Development and Public Works,

Georgi Tahov, Minister of Agriculture and Food, Temenuzhka Petkova, Minister of Finance, Krasimir Valchev, Minister of Education and Science, and Manol Genov, Minister of Environment and Water are scheduled to take part in discussion panels.
