The Foreign Ministry advises Bulgarian nationals to closely monitor the latest updates on possible transport disruptions in Brussels due to an upcoming strike, the ministry announced on its website on Friday.

On December 15, Monday, a general strike and demonstration are planned in Brussels, Belgium. Public transport, schools, kindergartens, and other services in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation are expected to be affected, according to the Foreign Ministry.

Citizens are advised to check and obtain real-time information on the National Railway Company SNCB-NMBS website and public transport platforms: https://www.stib-mivb.be/home, https://www.delijn.be, and https://www.letec.be, and, in case of potential delays and closures, if possible, plan alternative means of transportation.
