Albanian Parliament Speaker Elisa Spiropali will meet with National Assembly Chair Nataliya Kiselova and President Rumen Radev. Spiropali is on an official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of her counterpart Kiselova, the press centre of the National Assembly said.
She arrived on July 9 and was met at the airport by Bulgaria-Albania Friendship Group Chair Hristo Terziyski.
In the morning, Spiropali will lay a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier. After that, the heads of Parliaments of Bulgaria and Albania will meet in the building of the National Assembly.
In the afternoon Spiropali and Kiselova will participate in a PanEurope forum at the Central Military Club, where Spiropali will make a statement.
“The relations between our two countries are excellent, they are built on a solid historical foundation, traditional friendship and cooperation,” said Kiselova during a meeting with Spiropali in Tirana on June 9. A Bulgarian parliamentary delegation, led by Kiselova, was visiting Albania to participate in the 12th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP PA).
Bulgaria consistently supports Albania’s efforts to join the European Union, Kiselova said during talks with her Albanian counterpart.
