site.btaOutgoing Cabinet Adopts Memorandum of Undestranding with Building Hospitals Varna and Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment Sveta Sofia

At its regular meeting on Wednesday, the outgoing Council of Ministers adopted a decision approving a Memorandum of Understanding between the outgoing Government, BUILDING HOSPITALS VARNA, and the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment Sveta Sofia.

The memorandum concerns the implementation of the priority investment project “Construction of a Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment with a Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation Department, an Outpatient Medical Centre, Offices and an Underground Garage,” as well as the establishment of an interinstitutional working group to provide institutional support for its implementation.

The project will be carried out in Varna. The total investment amounts to BGN 100.3 million. The creation of 160 new jobs is expected.

The construction of the healthcare facility and the provision of comprehensive medical services aim to address the shortage of hospital facilities in the region.
