site.btaRegional Environment Inspectorate Imposes Sanctions of BGN 1.28 Mln on TPP Bobov Dol in 2025

So far this year, 17 statements of violations and seven penalty decrees have been issued against the Тhermal Power Plant (TPP) in Bobov Dol, imposing sanctions of BGN 1.28 million, the Regional Environment and Water Inspectorate in Sofia said on Friday.

The press release came after Daniela Toneva from the For Razmetanitsa Association sent a query to the Regional Inspectorate. In response to the query, the inspectorate added that 56 inspections of the TPP had been conducted to date.

Toneva recalled that in recent months the court cancelled two fines, of BGN 150,000 and BGN 220,000, imposed on the TPP.
