“Nothing can stop Bulgaria on the path to the euro area,” the country’s Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova told Bulgarian journalists in Brussels on her way to a meeting of the EU Economic and Financial Affairs Council.
“We are set to fulfill a strategic goal for our nation. We expect full support from all countries,” Petkova commented.
“The whole process related to Bulgaria’s membership of the euro area ends today. Let’s wish ourselves good luck”, the minister said.
