The Council of Ministers Tuesday approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Government Information Service said. The Memorandum aims to boost bilateral economic cooperation, with a focus on attracting and promoting investment from both countries.

Under the Memorandum, IBA and JETRO are expected to enhance business connections between potential investors from Bulgaria and Japan. They will also regularly share the latest information on investment opportunities.
