The mountains offer good hiking conditions on Sunday. The weather is clear and sunny, the Mountain Rescue Service (PRS) told BTA.

The facilities in the resort of Borovets are not operational. The MRS warns hikers of a risk of slipping on steep slopes due to snow drifts in the high parts of the mountains.

No incidents have been reported in the past 24 hours.

According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, it will be mostly sunny, with cumulonimbus clouds in the afternoon. There will be brief rain showers in isolated places in the western half of the country. Moderate to strong east-northeasterly wind. Highs: around 16C at 1,200 m, around 10C at 2,000 m.
