The Bulgarian boxers won the unprecedented 13 medals at the Balkan Championships for men and women in Albena. Each of Bulgaria's 13 athletes won a medal, seven of whom gold. 

On Tuesday, the Bulgarian boxers snagged three gold medals (Ergunal Sebahtin, Zlatislava Chukanova, and Yordan Morejon) and three silver medals (Venelina Poptoleva, Krasimir Dzhurov, and Kristiyan Dimitrov). Two silver medals went to William Cholov and Stanimira Petrova. Svetlana Kamenova won the bronze.

On Monday, there were four gold medals won by Yasen Radev, Javier Ibanez, Radoslav Rosenov and Kristiyan Nikolov.

Bulgaria's Radoslav Rosenov was awarded as best boxer of the championship. The Bulgarian male boxers got the team cup.
