site.btaBulgargaz to Buy LNG from Germany's RWE Supply & Trading in June

Bulgarian public gas supplier Bulgargaz said Wednesday that the German company RWE Supply & Trading has been selected as its supplier of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in June. The company held an open competitive procedure where four potential suppliers submitted tenders in the final round. 

On May 15, Bulgargaz announced a procedure for preliminary selection of companies that will be allowed to LNG tenders during the period from June 2025 to June 2026. Based on that, Bulgargaz compiled a list of 34 potential suppliers. On June 2, it sent out an invitation to tender to all approved suppliers and received offers from four companies, including RWE Supply & Trading, which was subsequently picked as supplier for June.
