At the end of November 2025, claims on loans to Bulgaria's non-government sector amounted to BGN 117.660 billion (53.6% of GDP) compared to BGN 115.716 billion (52.7% of GDP) at the end of October 2025, the Bulgarian National Bank said on Tuesday. They increased annually by 15.3% in November 2025 (15.1% annual growth in October 2025).

In November 2025, loans to non-financial corporations increased by 9.9% annually (9.5% annual growth in October 2025) and at the end of the month amounted to BGN 52.891 billion (24.1% of GDP). Loans to households and household-serving non-profit institutions were BGN 55.405 billion (25.2% of GDP) at the end of November 2025. They increased by 20.9% compared to the same month of 2024 (21% annual growth in October 2025). At the end of November 2025 loans for house purchases were BGN 32.140 billion and increased by 27.7% annually (27.8% annual growth in October 2025). Consumer loans amounted to BGN 21.356 billion and compared to November 2024 they rose by 13.6% (13.6% annual growth in October 2025). On an annual basis other loans increased by 10.6% (10.4% annual growth in October 2025) and reached BGN 536 million. In November 2025, loans to Sole proprietorships and partnerships without legal status decreased annually by 2.9% (0.8% annual decline in October 2025) reaching BGN 523.3 million.

Loans granted to financial corporations were BGN 9.364 billion at the end of November 2025 (4.3% of GDP). Compared to November 2024, they increased by 15.1% (14.9% annual growth in October 2025).
