The natural features, the four seasons, the rich culture and history of Bulgaria are a strong potential that must be presented to the world through joint efforts of institutions, business and the academic community, Deputy Tourism Minister Pavlin Petrov said on Friday at the opening of the First Congress Brand Bulgaria – Hospitality in Four Seasons, as seen by young talent, organized at the University of National and World Economy by the Economics of Tourism Department.
The event's partners are the Bulgarian Association of Hotel Executives, the Bulgarian Tourism Association and the Hoteliers and Restaurateurs Association - Velingrad and Western Rhodopes.
“If we want to live in a better world, we must work together and show the beauty of Bulgaria, and there is a lot of it,” Petrov said.
He added that the congress manages to unite the experience of the academic community, the courage of entrepreneurs and the energy of young people, which, in his opinion, is proof that something meaningful is being done.
“This is the path on which you, young talents, can develop your skills, believe in your own strengths and capabilities, and find support from experienced people in the country,” Petrov added.
The forum continues with discussions, presentations and panels dedicated to the development of Bulgaria’s tourism brand and the role of young professionals.
