Bulgaria is participating in two international tourism exhibitions in Central and Eastern Europe – TTR 2025 in Bucharest and Touristik & Caravaning in Leipzig, the Tourism Ministry said on Wednesday. The Ministry is presenting the country with national stands highlighting sustainable development, cultural heritage, seaside and winter holidays, family tourism, and balneology.

The concept of Bulgaria’s stand at the TTR 2025 exhibition in Bucharest focuses on cultural landmarks, natural resources, and the wide range of opportunities for summer, winter, and specialized tourism. A programme featuring digital visualizations and a photo corner with iconic Bulgarian landscapes has been prepared for visitors. Twenty-seven Bulgarian tourism companies and municipalities are participating at the national stand, marking a steady increase compared to previous years and underscoring the importance of the Romanian market.

Romania remains one of Bulgaria’s most significant external markets due to the year-round activity of Romanian tourists, geographic proximity, and sustained interest in various segments of Bulgaria’s tourism products.

The Touristik & Caravaning exhibition has been held since 1990 and is the largest tourism event in central Germany and the former East German provinces, bringing together over 450 exhibitors from more than 30 countries. Bulgaria traditionally draws visitor interest with offerings for seaside holidays, balneo and spa tourism, and family vacations.
