site.btaCommitments Reaffirmed, Says North Macedonia's Foreign Minister After Talks with EU Enlargement Commissioner

North Macedonia's Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski reaffirmed his country's "strong commitment to the path of European integration" at a meeting with the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos. On Wednesday, Mucunski was in Brussels for an informal dinner on Western Balkans on the margins of the European Commission's Foreign Affairs Council.

In a Facebook post, Mucunski wrote the discussion covered the reform process, the commitment of North Macedonia's government, and the adoption of legislation which forms an integral part of that process.

The focus was also on addressing shared security challenges and deepening defence and security cooperation, Mucunski said.

In his words, Kos expressed support for North Macedonia's European path and welcomed the continuity of reforms and the emphasis on them following the local elections.
