According to the organizers, this is one of the most colourful and long-awaited cultural events, which creates a highly emotional and joyous mood for an audience of various ages. Every year the folklore festival turns into a feast for the audience in the hot summer days, with folk dance groups from all over the world performing with a lot of talent, beauty, happiness, providing an unforgettable scene of colour and rhythm, the organizers added. Every festival night, until August 1, the dance troupes will parade along Plovdiv’s main street, reaching the open stage of the central square in front of the municipality, where they will hold short concerts.
The program will continue with the official evening presentations of the participants on the stage of the Ancient Theatre.
