site.btaWorld Table Tennis Tournament to Take Place from August 21 to 24 in Panagyurishte

The World Table Tennis Feeder Panagyurishte 2025 Presented by Asarel will take place from August 21 to 24 in Panagyurishte, the organizers said on Monday.

Over 100 players from 21 countries will participate in the competition with a prize pool of USD 45,000. Traditionally, the most promising young Bulgarian tennis players will be awarded honorary plaques, as well as cash prizes to help them prepare for and participate in the tournament.

Bulgarian-born Italian Champion Niagol Stoyanov will compete for Italy, while Yu-An Chang from Taiwan, who is 83rd in the world, has also been announced for the men's draw. In the women's draw, the number one seeded player will be Pusyuan Cheng from Taiwan, who is 147th in the world rankings.

The main sponsor of the competition is Asarel-Medet AD, and for another year the pension insurance company Saglasie is also supporting the tournament. The Asarel Bulgaria Open Association is once again successfully cooperating with Panagyurishte Municipality and the Bulgarian Table Tennis Federation, and part of the funding is covered by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
