site.btaBulgarian, Moldovan Education Ministers Sign Agreement on Transfer of Ownership of Taraclia University's Premises


The Minister of Education and Science, Krasimir Valchev, and Moldovan Education and Research Minister Dan Perciun signed an agreement on Sunday to transfer ownership of the premises of the former Taraclia University to the Taraclia branch of Angel Kanchev University of Ruse. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Prime Ministers of both countries, Rosen Zhelyazkov and Dorin Recean. Also present were the University's rector, Desislava Atanasova, and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences full member Hristo Beloev, honorary rector.
Zhelyazkov, who is on a bilateral visit to the country, expressed his hope that the educational institution would become a “talent factory” at the European level.
Valchev emphasized that the University will provide educational and life opportunities to more young people.
The official conversion of Gregory Tsamblak State University of Taraclia into a branch of Angel Kanchev University of Ruse took place on May 24 – Alphabet Day.
