site.btaParliament Chair to Participate in High-Level Meetings of Parliamentary Speakers in Geneva

Parliament Chair Nataliya Kiselova will take part in the 15th Summit of Women Speakers of Parliament and the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament, which will take place from July 28 to 30 in Geneva, the Parliament's press office said on Monday. 

Kiselova is scheduled to deliver a statement during the first session of the 15th Summit of Women Speakers of Parliament, dedicated to the topic "The Women, Peace and Security Agenda 25 Years On." Participants will discuss the implementation of the agenda since the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 1325.

Kiselova will also join the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament, where she is expected to take part in a discussion on the participation of women and youth in parliament in times of polarization and challenges.

According to the press release, attending the forums will be delegations and parliamentary leaders from 115 countries, 6 associate members and 14 observers.
