Artist Lyuba Tomova is among the finalists in the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe International Poster Competition 2025, organized by the German literary department Daarvak. Tomova herself announced this on her Facebook profile.

The news was also announced by the team at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Berlin, who pointed out that Tomova was the curator of the exhibition of contemporary Bulgarian posters “OBJEKTiv”, which was presented in March 2025 at the Institute.

“This year, talented designers from around the world presented stunning posters that reinterpreted the eternal spirit of Goethe through bold creativity and unique personal visions. Each of the works presented offered a new perspective, which made the jury's task both inspiring and challenging,” Cootermag wrote. 

Lyuba Tomova graduated from the National Academy of Arts with a degree in Poster Design. She works in the field of poster and applied graphics and is a co-founder of the graphic design studio Poster House. In 2022, she was awarded the grand prize at the International Triennial of Stage Poster - the Golden Poster and a statuette by Bulgarian sculptor Prof. Bogomil Nikolov.
