Actor Anton Radichev Receives Ikar Award for Outstanding Contribution to Bulgarian Theatre

Actor Anton Radichev receives the Ikar Award for outstanding contribution to Bulgarian theatre, the Union of Bulgarian Actors said Thursday. His is one of seven special awards that were announced today along with the regular Ikar nominations.

The Ikar Award for Honour and Dignity goes to actress Maria Stefanova. The Unima puppet theatre association award for significant contribution to the development of Bulgarian puppetry goes to Silva Bachvarova, and the Ikar for teaching goes to prof. Anastasia Savinova.

Kaval virtuoso Theodosii Spassov receives the Ikar for his world tour, singer Lyubo Kirov - for his contribution to the musical and performing arts, and Nikolay Serafimov - for his achievements in the field of variety art and musical theatre.

The Circus Art Award from the Guild of Circus Artists goes to Lucrezia Mario Malevolti - for excellence in the equestrian genre.
