By the end of 2025 Bulgaria should have five medical helicopters which will b purchased with money under the National Rcovery and Resilience Plan, said Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds Management Atanas Pekanov in a televised interview on Thursday.
“In order to receive instalments from Brussels we should report progress, For a long time Bulgaria has ignored the requirements and reforms of the European Union,” said Pekanov.
“Against the first instalment Bulgaria should implement 22 measures. During the caretaker governmnt take over last week we saw that documents are almost complete for 22 of the 22 measures. The last project is for the modernization of the Interior Ministry,” said the Deputy Prime Minister=
He said that the first tranche is expected at the end of the year.
