site.btaVazrazhdane Leader Kostadinov Describes President's Veto of Election Code Amendments as National Betrayal

"This is national betrayal and treason, said here on Wedneday Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov, speaking to journalists in Parliament regarding President Iliana Iotova’s veto on the amendments to the Election Code, which limit voting sections in non-EU countries. 

This is an attack against statehood and a continuation of state treason, after [former President 2017-2026] Rumen Radev declared his support for the illegal and large-scale falsification of votes in Turkiye, he added. 

Kostadinov stated that Vazrazhdane’s bill proposing amendments to the Election Code is being received with approval by a large part of Bulgarian citizens who are fed up with people who have severed their ties with Bulgaria determining Bulgarians' fate.
