site.btaPresident Radev Congratulates Karol Nawrocki on His Victory in Polish Presidential Elections

Bulgaria's head of State, Rumen Radev congratulated Karol Nawrocki on his victory in the presidential elections in Poland in a post on X on Monday. 

"Congratulations to Karol Nawrocki on his election as President of Poland! Looking forward to working together to further strengthening the friendship and cooperation for the benefit of our peoples and the stability and prosperity of Еurope," Radev wrote. 

Nawrocki, backed by the main opposition Law and Justice party, secured 50.89% of the votes in the second round of the Polish presidential elections, according to the National Electoral Commission. His opponent, Rafal Trzaskowski, candidate of the ruling Civic Coalition and Warsaw Mayor, won 49.1% of the vote. The voters' turnout was estimated at 71.63%.
