Week of Bulgarian Documentary Cinema Takes Place in Skopje

Skopje's Cinematheque will host a week of Bulgarian documentary cinema week between Jun 21 and 27. The audience will see films of new documentary wave of Bulgarian cinema.

The ten short and long fearure films are Stanislav Donchev’s “Guardians of Our Conscience”, Yordan Todorov’s “Dad Made  Dirty Movies”, Borislav Kolev’s :Stoichkov”, Andrey Paounov’s “The Mosquito Problem and Other Stories”, Svetoslav Stoyanov’s “ The Last Black Sea Pirates”, Kosta Bikov’s “Citizen Cinema”, Tonislav Hristov’s “The Good Postman”, Eldora Traykova’s “Of Men and Bears”, Pancho Tsankov’s “Autumn Episode”, and Anri Kulev’s “I Dream of Music”.  

Producer Martichka Bozhilova, writer Petya Alexandrova and film critic and historian Rossen Spassov will hold sessions with the audience. The event takes place with th support of the Bulgarian Cultural Centre in Skopje and the Bulgarian National Film Archive.
