Petrol prices in Bulgaria fell by an average of EUR 0.02 per litre over the past month (-1.6%), continuing a downward trend, according to data from specialised platform Fuelo published on Sunday. On January 2, A95 petrol was selling at EUR 1.25 per litre, while as of February 1 its average retail price stood at EUR 1.23 per litre. Over the past week alone, petrol prices declined by 0.81%, or EUR 0.01 per litre.

Diesel prices decreased by an average of EUR 0.01 per litre (-0.79%) over the past month, though the overall trend has been one of price stability, the platform’s data show. On January 2, 2026, diesel was trading at EUR 1.27 per litre, while its current average price is EUR 1.26 per litre. Over the past week, diesel prices remained unchanged.

Over the one-month period under review, the price of propane-butane fell by EUR 0.01 per litre, from EUR 0.58 to EUR 0.57. The same decline was recorded over the past week, with prices down by EUR 0.01 per litre.

Over the past month, the price of methane remained unchanged at EUR 1.12 per kilogram, indicating a stable trend, the platform noted.
