Tervel Zamfirov won the Parallel Giant Slalom at the Snowboard World Cup in Bansko Sunday, claiming the first World Cup victory of his career.

The 2025 world champion in parallel slalom recorded the second most significant win of his career after defeating Austria’s Fabian Obmann in the final. Zamfirov raced on the more challenging red course of the Alberto Tomba slope, but managed to edge past his opponent by 0.15 seconds, sending the fans in the stands into raptures.
